At A Bailey & Sons we believe that a good court relies on a solid foundation, and so include a good depth of 'clean' base stone in our specification. Clean stone is used to maintain the porosity of the court base. (Clean stone is a dust free aggregate with no fine dust or subsoil etc.) Other characteristics include using a 45mm chainlink mesh for the surrounding fence. The smaller size avoids balls becoming lodged in the mesh. The chainlink is plastic coated with a galvanized core. The steelwork used to support the fence is also galvanized at source and painted twice on site in the desired colour. Heavier gauge steel is used for the corner posts (60mm) to offer more support for the fence. Superior quality tennis nets, posts and sockets are included in the construction price. Options such as buff slab edging, gravel weed barriers and practice playwalls are also available. Individual projects such as open sided courts onto a patio area or landscaping around the court can be undertaken. Please contact us for further information. |
